Conclusion

In the present study, laser therapy in acute tendonitis as well as excessive tendon tissue injury led to satisfactory treatment results.

In addition, according to the biomechanical characteristics of the tendon, in acute inflammation and excessive injury of this tissue, laser therapy accelerates the healing of the inflammation, penetration of cells such as fibroblasts into the area, and local preparation of the injured area for the synthesis of the matrix and more collagen fibers compared to the control group. This method has a significant effect in reducing the period of inflammation, eliminating pain, reducing the degree of lameness, and more normal weight-bearing compared to the control group, and the clinical symptoms, ultrasound, amount of hydroxyproline, and histopathological results confirm these results.
